Ruth is an experienced Independent Consultant with over 35 years’ experience in senior nursing and management positions in the NHS within both hospitals and the community with a thorough knowledge of healthcare provision and standards throughout the UK Health and Social Care arenas. She is skilled in Healthcare Consulting and Training with a focus on improving health and wellbeing through person centred initiatives. She is an expert in care of older people with a particular interest in improving care and services for people living with dementia and safeguarding. Ruth is an excellent communicator with both individuals and groups, communicating with authority on matters regarding health promotion and prevention of ill health. A strong consulting professional with a Master's degree in Healthcare Ethics and Law from Birmingham University.
